When I was first diagnosed, I was totally at a loss at what I should be eating to help heal my innards.
I found it a huge help when I read what other people were eating.
When I'm in a flare, I go back to the SCD basic diet which really helps.
So here goes!

Breakfast - 1 egg (microwaved)
Lunch - Chicken salad plate with lettuce, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, cooked carrot, black olives, baby capers, chicken thigh meat and tahini. I eat this for lunch a lot and it's one of my favourite meals. I load it all up on a big dinner plate and dig in. :)
Snacks - 1 piece of banana cake made with almond and coconut flour, banana, coconut oil and eggs.
Dinner - T bone steak with char grilled veggies - zucchini, mushrooms, red peppers and spinach. I tossed in some fennel seeds and drizzled some sesame oil on the top. Delicious!
Dessert - bowl of chopped fresh fruit: white peach, golden delicious apple, 2 dates and about 1/4 cup chopped macadamia nuts.
I've found I can't eat too many nuts; my tummy does better without them but I love them so much!
